Overview of Individual Viewing Sessions
Conference participants were each invited to conduct individual video analysis sessions by "thinking out loud" while watching a 2-minute video of classroom interaction showing the teaching of a key idea in the physics of matter—that matter occupies space—in a kindergarten-first grade classroom. In each half hour long video below, participants illustrate their own personal and diverse approaches to video analysis of the "matter occupies space" video, which is also included separately in the first video below. A transcript of this sequence created by Sarah Diaz and used by participants during analysis is available here.
